( i ) Elizabeth Iley of Bedford, widow Edward Veale of Bedford, tailor; James Hodgson of Godmanchester, gentleman, eldest son and heir of Henry ( ii ) Judith Richardson of Bedford, spinster ( iii ) Thomas Richardson of Bedford, innholder; recites:- mortgage for £20, 7 May 1728 -- a messuage in High Street, Bedford, with orchard and garden, occupiers Edward Veale and William Odell; principal and interest have not been paid; £5 further has been charged; Thomas Richardson has purchased the interitance for £55, and has paid Elizabeth Iley principal and interest on both mortgages, amounting to £27 16s; Witnesses: John Peppiat, Joseph Wiffin, Han (?)
