- Scope and ContentHarvest nearly over; weather of late has been fine. Mrs Joseph Yorke and family leave tomorrow and the writer then hopes to go to Malvern. Lady Lyttleton has asked the writer to subscribe to a work by Mr Maurice. Sir Joseph Yorke has been under great anxiety for his son on board Lord Exmouth's ship, from which he is now happily relieved. Writing master is coming this morning to teach the grandchildren, as no governess came with them.
