- Date free text27 Apr 1815
- Production dateFrom: 1815 To: 1815
- Scope and ContentThanks for agreeing t subscribe to Lady King's scheme. Jacqueline de Hompesch is very grateful for Lady Lucas' gift of £50; she can now afford to continue comfortably in her present house for at least a year longer. Could not persuade Mrs [Agneta] Yorke to stay longer - in the last 2 days she had greatly recovered her hearing and was in excellant health and spirits. Thanks for the box of pills, which the writer will consider a present. Read in the newspaper the account of the tragedy by Mrs Wilmot [a play performed at Drury Lane Theatre]. The writer would like to read it when it is printed. Dr & Mrs Waddington are expected early next month and will return to London following their visit.
