It is said that it arose from opening a large drain near Jesus College. Pensome's Will has been found by a boy on a rough bench between two trees, a place where workmen usually meet is the morning. When found it had the appearance of having been long carried in a pocket. The property depending on the Will was above £20,000. The writer cannot explian how one of her tenants could have made such a fortune. Comments about the price of corn. Mentions the happy conclusion of the trial. Mrs Broome has gone with her father, old Mr Salmon, aged 82 who has just accepted a Living at a value of £1,000 per annum.
