    Son Joseph and family are to visit the first week in June. General invitation has been given to Mlle. Hompesch to visit. Deatils of Agneta Yorke's visit. Lucy Yorke is married [to Dr. Cummings] and son in law [John] Buller is soon to be married to a Miss [Harriet] Hulse. Col. Cocks has just had a son born to him [possibly relates to Charles Richard Somers Cocks, born April 1814, son of Philip James Cocks. Grandson Philip Yorke of Horkesley is now an ensign in the Guards. Did not give any credit to the strange account of Bonaparte's flight through the south of France, his disguises etc.
