- Scope and ContentHad hoped for an account of Lady Grantham, who was unwell. Mr [John] Dutton has lost his election after spending toward £60,000. Sir [Berkeley] William Guise, it is thought, was supported so well by his friends he is not above £30,000 out of pocket. Mention of a horse towing path on the Forthampton side of the river Severn, through the counties of Worcestershire and Gloucestershire. The Bill is now coming to the House, and the writer asks if Mr Robinson will attend it. The writer, her sons and tenants are much against it.
