Letter from Mary Yorke to Lady Lucas, sent from Ely House, London. Have remained in Town from week to week on account of the 'Ely Fever.' Mary Agnes [Waddington] caught this fever, but the illness was slight. In general the town may be said to be healthy, but the writer will remain in London a few more days.

Lord Royston has been ill with a fever and 'his faithful' actually died of it - the poor man who saved his master's life. Dr. Bailey has advised her Ladyship to pass 4 months at the seaside and she is going either to Brighton or Ramsgate. [Uncertain to whom this relates].
