Asks if Lady Lucas still has her private box at Covent Garden and whether she went to the first night to see 'the young Roscius' [William Henry West Betty - a child actor known as "the young Roscius"]. The writer had an account of the young actor from Miss Lyttleton. Account of family members in Ireland; mention of Lord Grantham joining them after Christmas. Mention of the death of two men in Gibralter. Mr Reeve's son escaped the illness and of 22 officers that had been ill, all were recovering. [Refers to epidemic of yellow fever]
