Postcard to Nora Grimmer at Market Square, Ampthill from Eliza Annie Swaffield. Stamped with a green half penny Edward VIII stamp and franked 'BOURNEMOUTH 5.45PM JY 24 05'. Black and white print of a photograph of a large globe installed in front of a wall engraved with information headed up '1891 The Earth'. Edwardian ladies and gentlemen are walking by the globe. "Just going to run round this big ball. E.A.S."
