- Scope and ContentUnderstands Mrs Yorke is better since she got to Bath. The master of Queens [Robert Plumptre] is in a very declining state, though better; his disorder in the summer was piles. Mrs [Margaret] Somers Cocks [wife of John Somers Cocks, 1st Earl Somers] has lately miscarried following a throw from a phaeton which overturned. Comments relating to Lord Plymouth [Other Hickman Windsor, 5th Earl of Plymouth] and Miss Sarah Archer [who married May 1778]. Writer hears Lord Dover has been at Windsor. [Joseph Yorke, 1st Baron Dover].
