    Will dated 8 January 1736. Legacy to Martha Allen. Bequest to Elizabeth Hawthorne 'my tow houses being leasehold lying and being in the parish of Saint Marys Bedford and now in the possession of Mrs Feedam and Mary Cook or some or one of them for and during the terme of her naturall life and from and after her deease then to Joseph Wadsworth the son of my brother John Wadsworth.' Residue to Joseph Wadsworth on condition that he pays the legacies. Joseph Wadsworth sole executor. Witnesses: Thos Woodward, Richard Confield, William Flawer[?] Will dated 24th March 1736 which bequeaths the two houses 'being leasehold and lying and being in the parish of Saint Marys Bedford and now in the possession of Mrs Feson and myselfe' to Joseph Wadsworth 'he being the son of my brother John Wadsworth'. Witnesses: Joseph Harlocke, Josiah Chicheley, John Wadsworth. With statement of probate dated 19 October 1737. Summons for Elizabeth Hawthorne in a business of a probate of a will in common form Wadsworth against Hawthorne. 10 May 1737. Paper dated 24 May 1737 affirming the case of Joseph Wadsworth. Instructions for the interogations of witnesses on behalf of Elizabeth Hawthorne daughter of Stephen Hawthorne, late of the town of Bedford. The sayings and depositions of the witnesses on behalf of Joseph Wadsworth - Joseph Harlocke, dated 15 June 1737. Deposition of John Wadsworth, dated 16 June 1737. Deposition of Josiah Chicheley, dated 17 June 1737. Paper dated 9 July 1737 affirming the case of Elizabeth Hawthorn, which is based on Valentine having been 'delirious & deprived of his memory and understanding for several days & weeks before the sd pretended will was made'. Paper giving verdict that 'Joseph Wadsworth hath sufficiently and fully (at least as far as is under written) founded and proved his intention and design...' 19 October 1737
