Statutory declaration of John Vernon Cowan, Chief Executive Officer and Town Clerk of the County Borough of Luton in relation to property at Luton. Declares that the Corporation has in its possession two documents which were damaged by fire on 19 July 1919 which are “shrunk and brittle” which he believes relate to the property referred to in the 1st Schedule and are transcribed as far as is possible in the 2nd Schedule. Property now vested in County Borough of Luton as local education authority.
