Scope and Content
This collection of material was donated by the great grandson of Harriet Mabel Cooper Cooper who married Lionel Tufnell. She was the daughter of William Smith Cowper the only child of William Cooper Cooper and his wife Laura Georgina. Although her name is listed as Laura Georgina Ellis in the volume on the History of the Landed Gentry of Great Britain and Ireland by Sir Bernard Burke she appears to have been known as Georgina and Georgiana by her family and husband.
