- TitleThinks Mr Hastings Russell has acted very judiciously in avoiding the parade of a great funeral. Smith is ready to go to Tavistock at any time. Has been with Mr Hacker to see Mr [Edward] Bury at Wolverton - he thinks 10 or 12 horsepower would do all that needs to be done, but 15 hp would cost very little more than 12. In a sawmill the scrap timber would provide the fuel, with a little slack coal. Further information and advice from Mr Bury. Might need to keep one pair of sawyers to quarter the round timber of large sizes. (3 sheets).
