A handwritten letter from Prince Henry Emiko of Warri in Nigeria to Honora Grimmer: "Dear Hanna Grimmer, Thank you for yours which came to hand few days before response. I am again thanking you for the greate trouble you took in drafting me how your family spent the last Xmas. How gay would the ancient dress looks like. You know life in ancient days was a remarkable one. I would like to have some snapshots from you next time. Indeed it was a gala day. Thank you for the domestic trouble you did for your family on Xmas Day. In your paragraph one you inquired why I signed Henri. They are almost the same meaning. Don't you know am quite a little funny? You told me of your niece in a London Hospital I would like her to write me if she is less bussy. I termed that to be too late please try again. Xmas in Nigeria is no different as you think. Anyway we enjoyed to our utmost best. I am so sorry to see your last paragraph that you cannot find Warri on your maps. To be frank, Warri's scale is too small but I cannot as yet indicate you a full map of Africa. Warri is in Western Nigeria. Nigeria is politically divided into three main regions i.e. Northern, Eastern and Western Nigeria. Each region is having her own Government and Premiers. Then we have a Federal capital that is Lagos, the gayest city in the Federation of Nigeria. In our region we have the largest town in West Africa that is Ibadan, the capital of Western Nigeria. And the third largest town in Africa as a whole. Warri is the headquarter of Delta Province. Do if you are interested in the history of Nigeria I can give you adequate one. I would like you to send me a snap of your own then I shall send one after. Yours sincerely,"
