- Date free text17 Oct [No year]
- Production dateFrom: 1797 To: 1815
- Scope and ContentHas just parted from Mr & Mrs Charles Yorke, who the writer had not seen for some years. They were suceeded by Lord & Lady Eliot, returned from their long tour; the passage from Dublin to Holyhead took two nights and a day in rough weather. The left Lady Caledon and the Bishop of Kildare's families well. Gives the Eliot's opinions regarding Ireland. Following the visit of the Eliots came 'My dear Vice Admiral', on his way from Plymouth where he had been to survey the dockyard. His visit was short as he was impatient to visit his lady and young family at the Lodge. Writer laments her deafness.
