Photocopy conveyance by Henry Gates of Luton, grocer (mortgagee) and Richard Fensom of Luton (mortgagee) for £200 to vicar and churchwardens of Luton of two cottages - 44 and 46 Church Street, Luton [as shown on included plan], in occupation of Sophia Lawford and Maria Wilkins with gardens at the rear and part of a coal barn in occupation of Thomas Brown with frontage to Church Street of 24 feet, 6 inches, at SE or rear 32 feet, NE side 56 feet, 4 inches, SW side 46 feet, 9 inches; in trust to be used as a site for a National School; with covenant for production of following deeds:
- conveyance of 27 December 1866 (1) Henry Coles Brown, corn merchant; (2) Charles Warboys of Luton, straw hat manufacturer;
- conveyance of 23 October 1866 (1) Charles Warboys; (2) Richard Fensom;
- mortgage for £150 of 25 October 1869 (1) Richard Fensom; (2) Charles Rowell of Leagrave, baker;
- transfer of mortgage of 4 September 1871 (1) John Charles Rowell; (2) Richard Fensom; (3) Henry Gates
