- Scope and ContentWriter has been unwell and anxious on account of 'the hazardous situation of my gallant grandson.' Though her fears are now over, considers the effects may last a while. Is writing to congratulate and console with Lady Lucas on the present occasion. The writer saw both events in the newspapers [Refers to the premature birth and the death of Hobart Frederick Robinson, son born to Lady Sarah Robinson, wife of Frederick John Robinson, who was born 8 Sep 1816 and died 14 Sep]. Wishes Sarah a speedy recovery. Refers to the riding of a donkey [perhaps suggesting that this was the cause of Sarah giving birth prematurely]. Congratulates Lady Lucas on her change of title [She was created 1st Countess de Grey of Wrest]. The writer had no idea of this, and was surprised to see it in The Gazette.
