Writer has had a second severe cold and rheumatism makes it difficult and painful to write; this prevents sending any royal anecdotes. Writer has not 'fallen in' with her Majesty yet, and nor is she likely to do so, as her Majesty holds her circle in the pump room at 9 in the morning; the writer is too old and too cold to leave her bed before nearly 10 am 'which is a good excuse for my non-attendance if expected.' Further reference to the cause of Philip Yorke's death [See L30/11/323/119] PS; accepts offer of venison - expects Sir Joseph Yorke and three of his boys before Christmas concludes. Encloses details of proposed printing of two volumes of sermons by the late Rev. Charles Moore, father of Captain Moore, and asks if the names of Countess de Grey and her sister may be added to the list of subscribers.
