Scope and Content
A collection of insurance policy documents relating to the Flitt Motor Company, in the name of Albert Grimmer:-
(i) A Boiler Insurance Policy from the Ocean Accident & Guarantee Corporation Limited of Moorgate, London for the period 9th May 1934 to 9th May 1935 covering an Ingersoll Rand Co. Ltd boiler up to £1,000, for a premium of £1 7s 6d. Renewal premium receipts attached for 1944 and 1947.
(ii) A Petrol Installation Policy from Royal Insurance Company Limited of St Peter's Street, Bedford for the period 27th September 1938 to 27th September 1939 covering a Beckmeter petrol pump installation up to £1,000 for a premium of £10.
(iii) An Inspection Contract (or servicing agreement) from the Ocean Accident & Guarantee Corporation Limited of Moorgate, London, dated 15th February 1938, covering a vehicle lifting table manufactured by Henry Miller & Co. of London and a jib crane made by Harvey Frost & Co. Ltd of London.
