    Admission of William Millard of Cranfield, butcher (surviving trustee under will of James Millard) James Millard late of Cranfield, carpenter died seised of: - at rent of 1s, fine £1..6..8 and a heriot when it happens - cottage in Town End of Cranfield near the Church for many years past used by the parishioners of Cranfield as a workhouse for the poor, but recently converted into seven cottages, in occupation of William Cooper, Joseph White, Matthew Odell, James Brown, Norman Burgoine, widow Wrench and widow Fountain - also rent at 6d per annum, fine £1 and a heriot when it happens - cottage in Church End, Cranfield, formerly in occupation of John Redman, then James Millard, now of his widow, with barns, outbuildings and soil on which the same stands and yard, garden and part of a pightle of pasture extending from foundations of said cottage in North 39' towards West and extending from extremity of said pightle on South, 88' towards West; James Millard lately died, heriot of 5s due; by will dated 31 October 1834 devised to brothers William Millard of Cranfield, butcher and John Millard of the same, farmer, all real estate to apply rents for support of wife Susannah and daughter Elizabeth for life of wife, then to be sold. If wife remarries, real estate to be sold, £15 to daughter Elizabeth, rest to be divided amongst testator's children John Millard one of the trustees in the will since died leaving William Millard surviving rents: 1s., 6d, = 1s 6d fines: £1..6s..8d, £1, = £2..6s..8d
