- Scope and Contenti) James Garnar ii) [blank] fortnight ago sent conveyances of Wigtoft and Swineshead estates in a box to Mr Hurst at Newport to be executed by parties in Buckinghamshire. Tuesday received letter from Mr Crane enclosing yours to him 29th last month; Mr Hurst in London and deeds cannot be executed until his return. Mr Crane advised you to convey deeds by post - too large for this and too expensive; send to Melton some other way. Mr Pryor wrote a month ago that a petition had been presented to vacate Gill's recognizance and Mr Wright has assured him he'll see him paid (if Dr Radcliff's trustees will not allow of that expence) - until i) receives order for vacating recognizance, money for purchase cannot be paid Grantham 10 Dec 1761
