recites: Recognizance [as in X486/1] i) George Gill of Chicheley, Buckinghamshire, gentleman Richard Perrott junior of Newport Pagnell, gentleman Thomas Cripps of same, yeoman Hugh Smith of Wolston, yeoman Thomas Crane of Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, gentleman William Sharrad of Langham, Rutland, grazier Thomas Wright of Marston, Lincolnshire, grazier ii) Master of the Rolls and Robert Holford, one of the Masters in Chancery (both now deceased) in £4000 whereas: Robert Holford survived the Master of the Rolls; Sarah Holford is his widow and executrix Thomas Cripps and Hugh Smith are now dead now: instruct heir of Thomas Cripps and tenants of his lands to appear in Chancery to show any reason why debt should not be levied and delivered to Sarah Holford according to effect of said recognizance
