    i) Attorney General at the relation of Chancellor, Masters and Scholars of University of Oxford and Masters and Fellows of University College, Oxford (plaintiffs) versus: ii) Charles Noel Duke of Beaufort George Henry Earl of Litchfield Charles Earl of Arran Sir Walter Wagstaff Bagot, baronet Edward Smith esquire (trustees of will of John Radcliffe, doctor in physick, deceased) by order 1 May 1740 referred to a master of the court to appoint new receiver of said doctor's estate in Buckinghamshire in place of John Battison - appointed Mr George Gill who with Thomas Cripps, since deceased, Thomas Crane, William Sharrard, Richard Perrott, since deceased, and Thomas Wright as his sureties entered recognizance with Master of the Rolls and one of the Masters of this Court in penalty of £4000 conditioned for Gill duly accounting for his receipts. Gill passed accounts to Lady Day 1746; died intestate; widow Jane had taken administration; son and heir Robert Gill. Mr Thomas Quartley since appointed receiver of said estate Masters report 27 July 1752 certified to be due from Jane Gill as adminstratrix of her husband £1598..11s..9½d still unpaid Richard Perrot, deceased, leaves Robert Perrot his eldest son Thomas Cripps, deceased, leaves Mary Cripps only child Hugh Smith, deceased, leaves Hugh Smith son and heir request said Recognizance entered into by George Gill may be put in suit now: court orders Jane Gill, Robert Gill, Thomas Wright, Thomas Crane, Robert Perrot, Mary Cripps, Hugh Smith and William Sherard by last day next term pay Mr Thomas Quartly £1598..11s..9½d
