Reference to the taking of Buenos Aires [invasions of the River Plate] and 'the conduct of our brave countrymen in Calabria [Battle of Maida]. Discusses who might succeed Fox. Refers to Viscount Royston's 'Cassandra' [a translation of Lycophron's poem about Cassandra]. Sympathises with Lady Lucas on the subject of finding new female servants.
