Reciting Demise for 1000 years by William Watmough of Bedford, scrivener, to i) on 24 March 1634/5 of:
... messuage, cottage or tenement with yard and appurtenances in Bedford St Paul in Angell Street, between cottage and ground then of William Watmough, now of Richard Cooper, last-maker, North, and tenement and ground of Jacob Lawrence, gentleman, South, abutting West on ground then of Thomas Skelton and East on Angell Street, with two foot of ground from the grunsell of the house standing in the yard on the North side thereof and twenty foot in length from the grunsell of the other "roometh" of the said tenement standing cross next to the street downward for an evesdropping to be fenced out
at a rent of £5 for the first 7 years and subsequently at a peppercorn rent, and
Reciting that i) wishes to make a settlement on Amy his wife
