- Scope and ContentLord Hardwicke and his brother arrived in England on the 13th August. They left thing quiet in Dublin and hope they may have two months leave of absence without interruption. Reference to child of Joseph Yorke, [Charles Philip Yorke] who 'has just gone thro inoculation and had the disorder pretty severely.' Reference to the weather and the grain 'in this county it is not near ready for the sickle.' Lady Sarah Villiers, daughter of Lady Jersey is to marry a Mr Balie, a West India merchant [Charles Nathaniel Bayly]. Mrs Fitzherbert has consented to receive the Prince of Wales again on a platonic footing.
