Mentions that they already own 57 All Saints Way, Sandy, and that something similar would suit their needs; 25 March 1965 Letter from County Architect to R & H Wale Ltd, Builders, Green End, Gamlingay, enquiring about a new housing estate off London Road, Sandy; gives list of 11 additional requirements and requests price; 9 April 1965 Reply states that house on plot 98 Western Way will cost £3,550 complete; standard garage with tarmac drive £225 extra; gives some quotes for required alterations/additions but recommend they employ a contractor due to time constraints; 13 May 1965 note from County Architect to Health Committee that total cost including alterations/additions would be £4,035; 20 May 1965 Plan H/S15/P1/ES535 of 45 Western Way; site plan showing total area of house and garden of 317 sq yds; scale 1:500 location plan based on OS map; scale 1/2500 floor plans (with alterations to bedroom 3 in pen); scale 1/8" to 1' June 1965 District Valuers Report states 'total cost of £4,035 does not exceed market value'; 5 July 1965 R & H Wale state that they could carry out alterations to bedroom 3 for £90; 30 September 1965 Memo from Deputy County Architect that he would like to use their contractors G & H Seamer for the additional internal alterations; 1 November 1965 Letter from tenant Elizabeth O Evans requesting permission to install a television aerial and complains of unfinished/unsatisfactory work; 10 January 1966 Rating Assessment Information Sheet gives date of Construction/Alteration as 29 November 1965 and purchase price of £3,920 (freehold) along with amended room dimensions, bedroom 3 now called 'District Room' Internal memo dismisses most of tenants complaints but contractor is to attend to problems with electrical wiring immediately; 28 January 1966
