Has to go to Town next Saturday, so will be unable to receive 'Lady Bell' and Lord Polworth. The writer returned yesterday from Hamels, where she had stayed for a fortnight. Lady Beauchamp, accompanied by Dr Plumptre came for part of the time. Sends compliments to Lord Hardwicke and Lady Grey. Will go to settle in Mud Street at the beginning of December, 'not wishing to experience such a dismal scene as the last Xmas holidays produced here.'
