Refers to a trip to North Wales at the end of August, though it is not yet thoroughly settled. Mr & Mrs Philip Yorke have gone to Erthig. Their house in Upper Brook Street is to be let for three years with coach house and stabling for 6 horses, for £200 per year, unfurnished. Met Sir Francis Clark, who had received instructions to quell a riot at the dockyard; a major general and 200 men were sent, only to find five old women shouting about the wages of their husbands and sons.
