- Scope and ContentMr Wilson informs that his enquiry concerning the burial place of the Grey family was at the instance of the Earl of Bridgewater, but the motive or object is not known. Has paid Revd. Dyke's rent into the bank. Wiggins gives a favourable account of the Essex regulation. Edward Clay junior has repented his decision not to take the Shenfield Farm at the rent fixed by Brown and Wiggins. Revd. Ward is well pleased with Partridge, the tenant who succeeded Sadler at Great Horksley, 'of whose subsequent death your Ladyship has probably heard.'
