In the Name of God Amen I Catherine Pearson of Harlington in the County of Bedford Spinster being (of) Sound and Disposing minde and memory praised be Almighty God for the Same Do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following First I Will order and Direct that my Debts and Funeral Expenses Shall be first paid and Discharged by my Executors hereinafter named Item I Give and Devise To my Cousen Michael Morris of Ampthill in the said County of Bedford Ironmonger and tohisHeirs and assignes for ever All that my Cottage or Tenement situated and being in Harlington aforesaid wherein I now Dwell With the Orchard Garden and all other the Appurtenances thereunto belonging Item I Give and Devise To my Cousen John Morris of Ampthill aforesaid Blacksmith and Farrier and to his Heirs and assignes for ever All that my Close of Pasture Ground with the appurtenances lying and being in the Parish of Stretley in the said County of Bedford which I purchased of Thomas Gladman and Susanna his wife Item I Give and Devise To my Cousen John Pearson of Harlington aforesaid and to his Heirs and assignes for ever All that my Close or Pightle of Pasture Ground with all and every the appurtenances there unto belonging lying and being in the Parish of Eversholt in the said County of Bedford Item (I) Give to my Cousen William Morris of Westoning in the said County of Bedford Blacksmith the Sum of One Hundred Pounds Item I Give to my Cousen Thomas Morris of Solebury the Sum of Ten Pounds Item I give to my Cousen Mary Hall of Wooton in the said County of Bedford Widow the Sum of Ten pounds Item I Give to my Cousen Ann Besworth wife of Thomas Besworth of Pulloxhill my Silver Tankard Item I Give to my Cousen Martha Morris Daughter of my said Cousen William Morris of Westoning my Bed with Linnen Curtains and Valence and the Feather Bedd and all other Bedding belonging to the Said Bedd and also three Pair of Good Sort of Sheets Two Pair of Good Sort of Pillow Drawers One Huckaback or Diaper Table Cloth and Six Huckaback or Diaper Napkins One Largish Gold Ring One of my Largest Silver Spoons and One (illegible) third Part of my wearing apparell both Linnen and Wollen Item I Give to my Cousen Mary Pearson Daughter of my Said Cousen John Pearson of Harlington aforesaid Three Guineas to be paid to her (illegible) for her Use and I Desire that my Executors Will Give Thirty Shillingsworth of Bread to the Poor of Harlington aforesaid Within one week next after my Decease And my Will and Desire is that all the Legacies which I have Given in and by this my Will Shall be paid by my Executors hereinafter Named Within Six months next after my Decease and Lastly all the Rest and Residue of my Goods and Chattels and Personal Estate Whatsoever I Give and Bequeath to my Said Cousens Michael Morris of Ampthill aforesaid Ironmonger and John Morris of Ampthill aforesaid Blacksmith and Farrier to be Equally Divided betwixt them Share and Share alike and I Do Make Constitute and Appoint them the Said Michael Morris and John Morris (Executors) of this my Last Will and Testament hereby Revoking all former and Other Wills and Testaments by me and for me heretofor made In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this Twenty first Day of December in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and Sixty two.
