    Edward Groves of Bedford, tailor, to James Bradley of Bedford, grocer recites X199/4, /7 and /11 that (blank) Pope and Samuel Groves died during lifetime of Edward's wife (Elizabeth) that it is uncertain whether eldest son of testator's brother is or is not living that the legacies to be paid within one year after the death of Elizabeth are now due, but have not been paid, owing to the inability of Thomas Groves to pay in the absence of a purchaser; that Edward Marks (sic) has agreed to accept £5..5 in full satisfaction of his claims This sum is now declared to have been paid to Edward Groves in full satisfaction by James Bradley (who in right of his wife as one of the executrices of Elizabeth Stiles is entitled to a moiety of the mortgage recited) witnesses: Thomas Button, Henry Horton
