Parties:
(i) Richard Bell (son and heir of Robert Bell);
(ii) Mary Bell, widow (mother of (i)); Robert Bell (younger brother of (i));
(iii) John Dillingham, gentleman; Richard Wagstaffe, gentleman; William Whitbread, gentleman; John Wagstaffe, citizen and mercer of London
Operative Part:
- Manor of Radwell [Hertfordshire] and land in Radwell and Norton [Hertfordshire] was settled to the intent that Mary Bell might receive an annuity of £100 for her life; to the use of (i) for life, remainder to (iii) as trustees to preserve contingent uses and after his death to the use of first, second and every other son of the body of (i) successively in tail male, remainder to any posthumous son of (i), remainder to daughters of (i), remainder to Mary Bell for life, remainder to Robert Bell for life;
- after the determination of that estate to the use of Whitbread and John Wagstaffe as trustees for the life of Robert Bell in trust to preserve contingent remainders;
- after the decease of Robert Bell to the use of successive sons of Robert Bell in tail male, with remainders to his posthumous sons in tail male; remainder to uses of deed or will of Mary Bell, in default to the use of (i) and his heirs
(i) died without issue and Mary Bell was also dead without leaving any appointment and the property was now settled in Robert Bell for his life, remainder to Richard Bell, only son of Robert (a minor aged 15), remainder to successive sons of Robert Bell in tail male
