    It is certain that Henry Cavendish is dead. The Marquis of Hartington was in Cambridge and has come to Town; Lord George Cavendish has been notified. The writer does not know if any will has been made, but the property is understood to be immense. Regarding the petition, the writer proposes to take the directions of Lord Walsingham, the chairman of the committees. It has now been signed by Mr Vyner and Lady Theodosia, and will be sent to Lord Bridgewater for signature today.
