Parties:
(i) Richard Marriott of Gray’s Inn [Middlesex], gentleman;
(ii) Thomas Lee, late of Saint George’s, Hanover Square [Middlesex], esquire “but now residing in parts beyond the seas”;
(iii) John Schutz of Albermarle Street, Saint George, Hanover Square, esquire
Reciting:
- (i) and (ii) have agreed purchase of an annuity of £200 charged on manor, advowson, lands, rents and hereditaments for the natural life of (ii) for £2,800
Operative Part:
- (i) granted an annuity of £200 for life to (ii) for £2,800 charged on (a)-(i)

(a) Manor of Little Barford;
(b) advowson of Little Barford;
(c) right of free fishing in Great Ouse at Eaton Socon and Tempsford;
(d) capital messuage;
(e) 271 acres, 2 roods 9 perches in occupation of William Emery;
(f) farmhouse with closes of arable, meadow and pasture containing 267 acres, 17 perches in occupation of Edward Peck;
(g) several cottages in occupation of Edward Emery, John Selby, William Landon, [blank] Lewis, William Beby, Edward Wells, John Darlow, Richard Emery, George Pell, Thomas Peck and Martin Croucher;
(h) quit rent of 13/4 issuing out of lands late of Thomas Tingey in Little Barford;
(i) quit rent of 2/4 issuing out of lands late of Ashcombe [Oliver Ayshcombe?] in Little Barford and Eynesbury
Habendum:
- the annuity to (ii) for life
Proviso:
- for distraint by (ii)

- (ii) paid 10/- to (i);
- to better secure the annuity (i) demised (a)-(i) to (ii)
Habendum:
- to (iii) for 99 years in trust to permit (i) to take rents and profits; in trust that if the annuity was late in payment by 30 days or more (iii) had power to raise the required sum from (a)-(i)
