    Reciting: - contract with Richard Marriott of Gray’s Inn [Middlesex], gentleman for sale of Manor of Little Barford; - the manor was still mortgaged by deeds of 12 August 1713 [AN29/1] and April 1764 [AN29/8-9]; - the manor was charged with payment of an annuity of £344 to John and Mary Schutz and the longer lived of them [AN29/6]; - marriage settlement of John and Mary Schutz settling the manor to the use of Samuel Pechell and Robert Charles for 500 years to raise £8,000 for the children of John and Mary Schutz; - John and Mary Schutz had no children together; - the manor was charged with £2,000 mortgage to Thomas Middleton; - it was agreed that Thomas Lee would indemnify Richard Marriott against all incumbrances except £1,700 residue of the £3,400 due to Elizabeth Ashhurst, £435 residue of the sum of £1,877/10/-; Operative Part: - Thomas Lee nominated John Schutz as his personal representative
