Scope and Content
Parties:
(i) John Schutz the younger of Albermarle Street, Saint George’s, Hanover Square [Middlesex], esquire and Mary, his wife;
(ii) Arthur Jones of Lincoln’s Inn [Middlesex], esquire;
(iii) Walter Gibbons and Thomas Middleton, both of Lincoln’s Inn, gentlemen
Reciting:
- AN29/7;
- the marriage took effect;
- (i) had applied to (ii) for £2,000 but he “not having the sum … by him hath agreed to transfer” £2,000 in 4% bank annuities;
- the bank annuities [produced the sum of £1,877/10/-
Operative Part:
- (iii) paid 10/- to (i);
- (i) released manors and premises in Arlesey, Langford, Wilshamstead and Astwick to (iii)
Habendum:
- to (iii) to the use of (ii) for 1,000 years, to the use of (i)
Proviso:
- for equity of redemption by (i) by replacing the £2,000 in 4% bank annuities or repayment of £1,877/10/- with interest at 5%
