Examination of Charles Tomson: traced with his sons Christopher and Henry, and Mr Richard Markes Brown, a track of barley to the Meeting House Close and from there across the meadow to William Tyler's garden. Fetched a constable and searched Tyler's premises where he found several sacks belonging to him and one sack belonging to his son John. Barley which they found was similar to his although it appeared other barley had been mixed with it.
