A typewritten letter from John Queenborough, editor of The Garage & Motor Agent magazine, to Albert Grimmer at Station Road, Ampthill dated 23rd December 1953: "Dear Mr. Grimmer, Unfortunately, your story was not voted among the first three this year, but it has received "honourable mention" by being printed in our Christmas issue. I have pleasure in sending you an additional copy of the issue, and would like to take this opportunity of thanking you very much for helping to make our party a success. Good wishes for Christmas and the New Year. Yours sincerely"
