This is the last will and testament of Mary Allsion of the parish of St Cuthbert in the town of Bedford Widow of George Allison late of the same place deceased Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Maria Paine wife of Thomas Paine of Felmersham in the county of Bedford all that new erected Brick and tiled lease hold house wherein I now dwell situate on the north side of the street called Castle street in the said parish of St Cuthbert with the yard Garden and appurtenances thereunto belonging for and during the term of her natural life and from and immediately her decease I give and bequeath the said leasehold house and premises unto my grandson George William Paine son of the said Thomas and Maria Paine of Felmersham aforesaid to be his sole right and property to keep or dispose of as he may think proper for and during the remainder of the said lease but provided any said Grandson George William Pain should happen to die before his said mother Maria Paine the eldest daughter of the said Thomas and Maria Paine then my will is that my Grand Daughter Maria paine the eldest daughter of the said Thomas and Maria Paine of Felmersham aforesaid shall take the said leasehold house as her own right and property exactly in the same manner as my said Grandson George William Paine would have done had he been living In Witness whereof I have to this my cast will and testament contained in one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this fifth day of July in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and eight Signed sealed published and declared by the said Mary Allison the testatrix and for her last will and testament in the presence of us who at her request in her presence and in presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto Lettice field Elisa Cooch John Cooch
