    Parties: (i) Samuel Smith of Swavesey [Cambridgeshire], tailor and Ann, his wife; Henry Marsh of Swavesey, collar maker and Mary, his wife; William Bavin of Over [Cambridgeshire], gardener and Hephzibah, his wife (late Hephzibah Lee, spinster) - Samuel, Mary and Hephzibah, together with Sarah Catlin, deceased, were surviving children at death of Elizabeth Lee, late widow of Thomas Lee of Over, previously widow of John Smith of Renhold, and was daughter and devisee for life after the death of her mother Elizabeth in the will of Benjamin Rogers, late of Wyboston, innholder; Elizabeth Rogers was one of the two daughters and coheiresses at law of John Howard, late of Eaton Ford, tripeman who died intestate; (ii) Edward Lowe of Haddenham [Isle of Ely], innkeeper, eldest son and heir at law of Edward Lowe and Ann, his wife, Ann being the other daughter and coheriess of John Howard; (iii) George James Gorham of Saint Neots [Huntingdonshire], merchant; (iv) Joseph Savill of Saint Neots, draper Reciting: - John Howard died seized of the W end of a cottage in Eaton Ford; - Benjamin Rogers died seized of the E end of the same cottage in Eaton Ford; - AN25/9; - inclosure of Eaton Socon and AN25/12; - AN25/13; - AN25/14; - (iii) was still in possession of the property and paid Elizabeth Lee £5 per annum until her death on 24 April 1816; - Sarah Lee married Benjamin Catlin of Over, shopkeeper and had since died intestate and without issue; - (ii) had agreed to join in the deed on payment of £15 by (iii) Operative Part: - (iii) paid £90 to (i) and £15 to (ii); - (i) and (ii) released (a)-(b) to (iii) Property: (a) cottage with slip of ground adjoining in Ford End, Eaton Socon in occupation of John Freeman and William Richardson bounded N by the turnpike road from Saint Neots to Eaton Socon and all other parts by property of (iii); (b) piece of allotment ground in Eaton Socon Habendum: - to (iii) to the use of (iii) for ever Covenant: - by (i) to levy a fine sur cognizance de droit come ceo etc [to (iv)] Witnesses: - J P Wedd; - Nevile Day of Saint Neots
