    - devising to Caple Loft of Queen’s Square, Bloomsbury [Middlesex], esquire her farm in Arlesey in occupation of Thomas Botterell; - bequeathing £500 to Cordelia, wife of George Terry of Goodmans Yard, The Minories [City of London], shoemaker; £100 to Mrs Ewsden of Hitchin [Hertfordshire], widow; £100 to Susanna, wife of Edward Harman of Reading [Berkshire], esquire; £100 to Elizabeth, wife of Rev Hodgson of Stockton [Warwickshire]; - bequeathing £300 to Mary Mapletoft of Widdington, spinster; - bequeathing £200 to the widow of Rev Loft late of Waddesdon [Buckinghamshire] and £200 to each of her three children; - bequeathing £200 to Sarah, wife of Rev George Adams of Widdington with £300 to each of her children; - bequeathing £100 to each of the three children of Rev Ramsden, schoolmaster at Charterhouse; - bequeathing £100 to Harriet, daughter of Tabrum Adams of Widdington, yeoman; - bequeathing £300 to Richard Maul of Reading, draper; - bequeathing £20 to “Mrs Saunders …. spinster” of Bishop’s Stortford [Hertfordshire]; - bequeathing £20 to Mrs Broadhurst of Bishop’s Stortford, widow; - bequeathing £20 to Mrs Barnard of Bishop’s Stortford, mantuamaker; - bequeathing £10 each to the poor of Bishop’s Stortford and the poor of Hitchin; - bequeathing £200 to her executor upon trust to lend out at interest and to pay the interest to Ann, wife of Richard Archer of Bishop’s Stortford, shoemaker for her life, remainder to her husband for his life, remainder to her executor; - giving up to the widow of Christopher Loft, late of Queen Square, Bloomsbury, the bond for £860 he had given the testatrix and all interest due on it; - bequeathing her wearing apparel, linen, watch and rings to Sarah Adams; - bequeathing her money and securities for money (except Christopher Loft’s bond) to George Adams, whom she appointed executor; - witnessed by: Thomas Dixson; John Reynolds; John Collin; - proved 29 April 1777
