    Parties: (i) John Hooper of Dunstable, gentleman, only son and heir and devisee in fee in the will of George Hooper, formerly of Hitchin [Hertfordshire], late of Biggleswade, gentleman, deceased; (ii) James Ind of Baldock [Hertfordshire], brewer Reciting: - AN7/56;; - (i) had contracted sale with (ii) for £480; - it was agreed that (ii) would retain £100 to part satisfy the legacy of £200 to John Hooper Rains if he survived to 21, otherwise the sum was to be paid to (i), (ii) to pay 5% interest to (i) on the sum of £100 which remained chargeable on (a)-(m) Operative Part: - (i) conveyed (a)-(m) to (ii) for £380; - covenant by (i) to surrender (n)-(p) to (ii) Property: (a) messuage in Stotfold; (b) close of pasture belonging to (a) containing one acre; (c) 6 acres, 3 roods of arable in the common fields of Stotfold formerly in the occupation of Richard Peer now Thomas Slade; (d) arable in Stonehill Field of 1 rood, 20 poles described as an old rood abutting on The Rushes lying between land formerly of Estwick William Freeman S and Joseph Frost N; (e) half acre of arable in High Field in Springell Shot, land formerly of Estwick William Freeman Sand Joseph King E; (f) arable in Marsh Field in Blackmerland Shot, land formerly of William North S and Granger N; (g) one and a half roods of arable in Stonehill Field abutting against Rush Hedge W, land formerly of Granger on both sides; (h) one rood of arable in Marsh Field in Marehill Furlong with parsonage lands both sides; (i) half an acre of arable in Marsh Field in Hammerdine Shot, abutting on Marsh Shot, land formerly of Thomas Bently W and William North E; (j) half an acre of arable in Marsh Field, in Marsh Shot between land formerly of William Ford W and land formerly of Granger E; (k) one rood of arable in High Field, in Ball Green Furlong with land formerly of Joseph King N and land of Thomas Adams S; (l) one old rood (i.e. one and a half roods) in Ball Green Furlong with land formerly of Joseph King S and Thomas Inskip N; (m) one rood of arable in Ray Field, in Long Ansell Furlong with land of William Gore N and William Ford S; (n) 20 acres of arable in the common fields of Stotfold (d)-(n) in occupation of Thomas Slade (o) five roods of arable in the common field of Stotfold - half acre in Marsh Field, in Marsh Furlong land formerly of Lewis Lawndey S; half acre in Stonehill Field in Littlebury Field Furlong; one rood in High Field in Ditchend Furlong between land formerly of Joseph Frost and Thomas Inskip, one end abutting on Highbush Field S; (p) three pieces of arable containing one acre - half acre in High Field in Upper Oxmore Furlong , land late of William North, then Edmund Adams S, land late of William Gore N abutting on Nether Oxmore W; one rood in Ray Field in Ancell Furlong; one rood in Stonehill Field in Long Gaddesdon Furlong; (q) half acre of arable in Oxmore Furlong (o)-(q) formerly in occupation of James Clarke, then Thomas Slade, now John Hagger Witnesses: - Henricus Octavus Roe of Baldock [Hertfordshire]; - J Stubbe, clerk to John Hooper
