    Parties: (i) Robert Becher of Berkamstead, Saint Peter [Hertfordshire] (cousin and heir at law of William Becher, late of Howbury, esquire, deceased); (ii) John Pedley of Great Barford, gentleman Operative Part: - (i) bargained and sold (a)-(f) to (ii) for the £600 already owing on mortgage Property: (a) Cuckow alias Creakers alias Crecus Wood containing 40 acres, “now stubbed up”; (b) Shepherd’s Pastures - 24 acres 3 roods 34 poles with cottage and barn standing thereon; (c) arable called Turvey’s Corner; (d) half part of arable called Thirty Acres adjoining Bosley Field and two pieces of arable in Mill Field and Bosley Field containing 10 acres, 20 poles and 6 acres, 2 roods; (e) land containing 5 acres, 3 roods, 30 poles; (f) land containing 2 roods, 30 poles (a)-(f) now in occupation of Thomas Greeves, held by William Becher by indentures AN13/17-18 and AN13/19 Witnesses: - John Park; - Bartholomew Kidman Indorsed: “Inrolled in His majesty’s High Court of Chancery the Twenty Third day of August in the Year within written being first duly Stampt according to the Tenor of the Statute made in the Sixth Year of the Reign of their late Majesties King William and Queen Mary … by Humphrey Hackshaw”
