Caption: 'North Sea oil continues to be an important market for Kent, particularly in the supply of large meter provers, metering stations and associated control instrumentation for the custody transfer of crude oil and gas. The metering station for CONOCO North Sea Inc. was supplied complete and ready for the Murchison field of the CONOCO/BNOCGulf group, 120 miles north-eat of the Shetland Islands. It was transported by road to Avonmouth docks for shipment to the platform fabrication yard on Tyneside.'
