i) is in debt to various people and is unable at present to make full payment
Daniel Chapman (one of the creditors) and William Chapman have proposed to guarantee to rest of creditors, the payment of 10s..6d in the £, by a deed poll of even date and have paid such sum
now i) conveys to ii)
… 2 new erected buildings or workshops adjoining the yard of the Bell Inn at Leighton Buzzard, part of which was erected by Robert Thorpe, and other erected by i)
… right of way etc.
… all freehold lands etc. of i) in Leighton Buzzard
to be held by ii) in trust for sale
money raised to be used to pay cost of this deed and of a fine and any other related deeds. Remainder to re-imburse ii). Residue to i)
covenant to levy fine to iii) to use of ii)
