    With news from Petrograd and thanks for the financial support: He is back in his own home having left Odessa in April. The American Relief Administration forwarded Mr Bates' letter. He hopes to be able to repay him soon. Petrograd is in ruins and the factories, including the Pheonix, have been put out of work. Mr Barsky, the director, has been killed and Mr Markow[?] is said to have escaped to Sweden. Asks for news of Mr Ekland.
