With thanks for the letter and news of the civil war: He hopes these are the last days of the Bolsheviks although it will be a long time before Russia can return to the way it was. He still hopes to come to England but needs to improve his English first and has heard that there have also been hard times there with unemployment also. Enquires about the cost of living in London. He is no longer married as he lost his wife a year ago. At the beginning of the year he was fighting against the Bolsheviks but has now returned to his father's home town near the sea to recover from sickness. He has heard that Mr Ekland was in Chicago.
