- Scope and ContentMadam, I have this morning received a letter from Mr Firmin, in which he says he shall remit to Messrs Hoares in the course of this week £500 in two sums of £350 and £150 and that after settling timber bargains and discharging some bills for repairs, he conjectures there will be a further balance of between £400 and £500. He says his account will not be compleated 'till the middle of May but he will be in Town about the end of this month when he proposes to wait on your Ladyship. I have the honour to be, Madam, your Ladyship's obliged and faithful humble servant, Chas. H Ware.'
